We loved The Old Bell Tavern, very nice selection of ales. We ended up eating twice at the tavern because of the food. The pot pies were wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect.

First visited two years ago when staying in the nearby Premier Inn. Good service from the friendly efficient barman, and very good ale (incidentally rather cheaper than the sister pub down the road, the Black Friar). Had the fish finger sandwich (fresh goujons) just like...More

Had dinner here our first night in London. Traditional pub like atmosphere with fast and friendly service. Order up at the bar and they'll bring your drinks and food to your table. Enjoyed our dinner, would highly recommend.

We give it 5 stars for what it is. The atmosphere is cute, we sat in front by the stained glass window and locals from the table next to us engaged us in conversation--made the evening much more fun. It is an old pub, now...More

We were here yesterday afternoon for a couple of drinks which was fine. Returned last night at about 10.30 pm for a nightcap & there were mice running about. Not just one but a few. The bar staff did not seem to be that bothered...More
