I like the selection of cakes and pastries. The staff are very attentive, friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean.

Went there on a Sunday afternoon. Waited in the queue for about 5 minutes before being seated. Ordered a £4.45 chocolate brownie with ice cream and chocolate sauce (hot dessert). The brownie was alright, but the ice cream was a disappointment - could not find the vanilla there and texture was more like sorbet. Cold pastries were generally around or... More

The "Afternoon Tea" experience in London is as varied in options, atmosphere and prices as tea options themselves. The choices can go from a very "hip", busy Patisserie to a "posh" and elegant hotel and everything in-between with some priced for two but most per person and can range from 19 GBP per person to well over 50 GBP per... The patisserie is really poor and quite bad, te place also lacks of good vibe. I had english breakfast tea and a brownie with ice cream (no flavour, not good at all being a place 'dedicated' to pastries and cakes) I would definitely do not come back to this or any of the branches of Patisserie Valerie. Also who seemed... More

Visiting American tourists requested they be taken for 'high tea' during a day trip to London. After a lot of research into places and costings I found this chain to be the most acceptable and realistic pricing for me, despite the visitors stating the cost wasn't important! really, there were some places asking £45+! The one we visited just happened... More

Was enticed in by the beautiful selection of sweets in the window. I had a pot of Earl Grey tea and a custard tart and my partner had an apple pastry with coffee. Great friendly service.

Came here for an early lunch. Saw ourselves to a table, looked at the menu, went to the counter to order where I was ignored by the 2 members of staff working, they were busy so not overly annoying until after several minutes I was told to sit down and she would take my order. Fairly rude. Ordered. Brought my... More

My brother and I visited patisserie Valerie this afternoon after wandering around Chinatown. I have only ever visited the Ealing branch and must say that I have received good service each time and also great afternoon tea. We used a Wowcher deal to get a little money off of afternoon tea for two, however upon being seated and telling our... More

The cakes were stale and hard and had to be returned. The manager refuses to credit them stating they were fresh that morning

We stopped here following dinner at nearby restaurant for coffee and cakes at about 9pm. Great cakes, but limited choice due to the hour. Service very friendly. Valerie is always reliable and it can be difficult to find a place to go for coffee and chat in the late evening. Perfect! Couple next to us ordered afternoon tea !
