Perfect local pub. Live in the neighbourhood and so few pubs appreciate their local patrons. Craig was awesome. So unlike most London bartenders. Went out of his way to get to know us. Friendly. Genuinely enjoyed what he was doing. 2 free pints - which are 2 more then I have ever received in London. My new local.

Didn't care for our visit here. Stuffy pub that wasn't very friendly. On tap were several macrobrews. There are better options in the area.

Went based on TripAdvisor reviews. Even though place was packed with after work folks, the owner found us a spot fairly quickly for a great dinner. We had the Bangers and Mash, Sirloin, and one of their homemade hamburgers (our daughter said it was the best burger she's ever had). Topped it off with a couple pints of ale. Friendly... More

I had dinner here on a work trip as it was the top rated local restaurant on TA. I had the chicken and leek pie and it was really good wholesome pub grub. Very reasonably priced and good friendly service. The IPA I had a pint of was also really good (though didn't catch the name of it, hadn't seen... More

The place had good vibes and good choice of beers . I had a burger which was only OK (probably because of some spices that ruined it a little for me somehow) , nevertheless the whole experience felt very good and pretty cheap.

Visited this Ale house after trip in London. Very friendly people, Food - hot, tasty and large portions. Quick service. Food arrived after ordering in 12 Minutes. Good value for money in London. Would recommend it, Quite busy but worth it.

Headed up to King's Cross and needed a place to eat before heading to Wembley to see Spurs (what a disappointment!). We had done a quick recce the week before and spoken to Keith (from Derry) behind the bar. What a lovely, friendly chap! Anyway, we got there about 5.40 p.m., walked in and went to the bar for a... Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
