I've been to Glassblower twice and always had a good time. The food is great, the pub is situated in the heart of london and is also very enjoyable just for a pint with friends. Staff is very polite and friendly. Will definetely return!

We really enjoyed this pub!! Even if it was saturday at lunch, we had to wait only 20 minutes or so to get one of the tastiest lunch of our short break in London. We had two outstanding steak ale and chicken mushrooms pies, really amazing, and a deliciously rich chocolate fudge cake and an Oreo cheesecake which was superb,... More

Awesome dining experience at the Glassblower, all time favorite in London. Staff is as always friendly and prone to satisfy clients needs. We ordered some pints and classic British dishes (truly appreciated by my Yankee husband!), shortly after our food came out and was delicious we ordered more drinks (great selection of spirits too!). Definitely a solid choice for drinks... More

Nice pub in an excellent location. Very busy with a good atmosphere. Ideal place to rest your feet and have a break from shopping.

Popped in on a Sunday early evening, it looked busy downstairs and as we wanted a meal we were sent upstairs which was quiet and looked ok. Order was taken and took a while for drinks to arrive, food order took over 45 minutes to arrive. While we were waiting though the table next to us placed, received and returned their... More

Enjoying my drink ( Fosters no head ) white watching first half of the FA Cup ( Preston = 1 : Arsenal = 0 ) Not very busy for a Saturday Evening ( Business is normally slow in January and February as people come out of the Christmas and New Years with little money to go out ). Staff are... More

We called at the Glassblower a familiar landmark Pub which we have passed many time but never called in. So while doing some Christmas shopping in London we called for drinks but like many London pubs the drinks are very over priced the atmosphere was poor although it was fairly full in the downstairs bar area. although It still retains... Popped in here, for a lunch time drink. A good selection of traditional pub food and a selection of draught beers. Very cosmopolitan.

Once again I find myself a little conflicted with Trip Advisors rating system. I want to rate the Glassblower better than a three point average but a four point very good seems over the top. This time I have rated four however I would describe the Glassblower as good not very good. My wife and I went here before going... More

Hello HK_Phoey, Thanks a lot for your review, we really appreciate this. I apologise for the waiting time for the food, when it's busy sometimes it takes more than the usual 20 minutes for cooking. Hopefully, next time you'll come to visit us, this will not happen :) Thanks again for your feedback! Kind regards, Glassblower More

We went last Sunday as a family treat out. the food price was above average so i thought it would be good. We all went upstairs and got a nice table. The staff told us we would have to wait 30 minutes for food so we ordered our food straight away. There was no children's menu so we were advised... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
