Really welcoming and friendly staff. Always happy to provide samples of beer for those unsure of their tipple! Food is good too - ribs are recommended. Garden for summer eating and drinking or conservatory for the rest of the year!

Excellent place for a burger, a nice outside garden on the back, the selection of beers is nice and includes lots of Belgium... definitely a nice place outside of the touristic crowd!

Off the beaten track in Greenwich this "free house" serves a great selection of local and international beers, which on arrival we were given a selection to sample. The Sunday lunch was traditionally British, with Pork, Beef or Chicken with all the trimmings. Other dishes...More

In Greenwich for the night, we decided to eat somewhere which at least sold a good selection of craft beer. The Union is set away from busy Greenwich centre, in a nice quiet location. Inside the pub feels quite rustic, with wooden tables. The well...More

I visited the Greenwich Union with a friend for Sunday lunch. The table service was extremely attentive, which no doubt made us spend more money and drink more stout but the food, the environment and the service were all a pleasure.

Went there this past bank holiday weekend with a dog walking group from London; there were about 16 of us with our dogs. We sat outside on their back deck, which was spacious and comfortable and fit all of the dogs easily, even our Irish...More

The Greenwich Union looks very inviting as a brewing company that does food. The beers we had, were all too cold, ok for lager, but not beer. Our food lacked flavour or imagination and the staff lacked any enthusiasm, the service was slow and our...More

I haven't been to The Greenwich Union for a while. I used to love it as it was so traditional, had a great atmosphere with big armchairs etc, a really good menu and an excellent garden. We revisited last night for the first time in...More

Great range of beers and lovely little garden out the back. I didn't eat the food but looked and smelled delicious. Great if you are looking for a stop off point but want to get away from the tourists in the centre of the village.

Visited Greenwich Union yesterday for a roast and was impressed overall. The venue itself is lovely and has a cute garden area outside the back. The staff are all super friendly and made us feel really welcome. As soon as we sat down, one of...More

Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the
very concept of global time was established at Royal
Observatory, just one of several buildings of
architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole
of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park
and a number of related buildings (and one world
famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World
Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a

I'm sure they'd be happy to hold a table for you, but you won't have any problems getting a table at lunch.
