Enjoyed a dinner with business colleagues, and we went to Gaucho. Really good steak - best I have had in quite a while in the UK. Cooked just right. Sides were a bit more average. Wine was decent, but I am not an aficionado. Price seemed reasonable for what was a pretty good dinner in central London.

.....always a good combo. But although it was a good lunch, it wasn't quite as good as other branches of this excellent chain. We both had churasco chorizo cut that was a bit overdone and under tasty. The Malbec by the glass was good though as was the service. Just needs that extra bit of attention on the steak.

We came here following my graduation at the Law Society, Chancery Lane. Perfect location - i think it is literally 2 doors down. We ordered the halal meat 48 hours in advance. The steaks were amazing. The best steak I've probably ever had. The staff were very helpful and very friendly. The staff really went above and beyond for our... More

I had been to Gaucho Richmond on business so decided to bring my wife to Gaucho. We arrived early so had a drink in the upstairs bar. Once seated we were given an overview of the different cuts of beef available. There are dishes available without steak but this is a restaurant where they know what to do with beef.... More

First time I've been here, must say very friendly service, with a big smile, the food was great, as one would say " out of this world ". The venue, speaks for itself. Learnt a lot about the different types of steaks / cuts. The commitment from the staff and especially the Manager " Amit Crozier " was second to... More

This was my first visit to Gaucho and it didn't disappoint. Lovely venue and the service was first class. Showing us the cuts and talking through what you may like (although I knew what I would get anyway 😄) The speciality house lager was also very nice. The steak was fantastic and the sides were also extremely good. Not cheap... More

The staff cleared... More

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
