Good Place for large family outings. Friendly staff and good food. Vegetarian variety also is good. Good choices of Fresh and tasty sea food dishes on the menu.

Ok, yes, we know ... its pretty much impossible to find authentic Chinese cuisine in London. So as far as "westernised" Chinese goes, this place is one of the best. I would strongly suggest coming here lunch time instead of dinner, their dim-sum is one of the best in London. Good food. Friendly service. Ok, its not the cheapest Chinese... More

This used to be the "above average" Chinese restaurant we like to visit every time we visit London. It used to have some special dishes but after a few times, the menu seemed to have repeated itself and it does not have the usual / normal dishes we like. Anyway, the quality seemed to have slipped a bit during one... More

We came here to celebrate dad's birthday in a private room at the rear just before Christmas. It is pricey but the dim sums are most unusual and exquisite, the service courteous and professional. We had a great family time with good memories. A great place to celebrate.

We visited as a family, having read the reviews of the Royal China Club, and we weren't disappointed. The service was friendly. Everyone was happy to explain whatever we didn't understand in the menu or to make recommendations. The food arrived on time. Each course was utterly delicious with layers and layers of flavour!! I tried the whole fried soft-shell... More

After a rather disappointing experience in another Chinese establishment in Mayfair, our group was determined to find a 'good' Chinese restaurant, and we were rewarded with a wonderful meal. A large group of 14 people can pose problems for a restaurant, but not this one. The service was even so good to bring the kids meals first, so they did... More

We came here for lunch and worked our way through most of the dim sum menu which was lovely, light and steamed to perfection. We were seated next to tanks full of live crabs, lobsters and fish so the seafood is obviously super-fresh - we intend to try this next time. The service was attentive but not intrusive. Not the... Well this was a diversion! We had intended to go for Thai food at the Heron but it was closed for renovation . The RCC is our default weekend lunch spot. It cannot be faulted. The food is exceptionally fresh and the dumplings are the lightest most delicious morsels you can eat except for anything my wife cooks. It's Christmas... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
