Food is always good in here. Nice bar although can get a bit noisy if the football is on. Very dog friendly. Very good comedy night in the theatre upstairs.

I had charcuterie, liver parfait, pork belly, cheese board and a glass of Monbazillac. Excellent service and communication; great buzz; 50% off if you stay at hotel above. Great quality and value. Recommended. Top choice if you’re having by a day at The Oval.

Our room very comfortable, and the bathroom was wonderful, with a large bath and a spacious rainfall shower. The heated towel rail actually was heated, which is rare. Although we were overlooking the main road there was no noise at all, and we had a...More

The Tommyfield is a wonderful gastro pub that we were introduced by a close friend. The pies are to die for. The food in general was terrific and all at a reasonable price including the cost of the more than acceptable wine. Would certainly recommend...More

Most of the pubs near the Oval are packed when the 20-20 is on and this is a large place opposite the long established Dog House which is taking some of the overflow and was busy and noisy but in a generally friendly way when...More

The Tommyfield is a traditional English pub with open kitchen. Good quality food and friendly service, away of the usual tourist areas. I will be back.

Description
Wonderful sustainable English fish, our famous steaks and old school pie and mash form the heart of our menu. Our chicken and pork is all free-range and we work with some of the best small producers the British Isles has to offer. June 2014 saw the launch of six beautiful bedrooms on our top two floors. Each with their own unique character and charm, they feature either a super king or king-size bed, Egyptian cotton linen, an HD Freeview television, free wireless internet, Nespresso machine, black-out curtains or blinds, mini-fridge and safe as standard. Our private Master Room, with its own bar, is perfect for private parties and events, and hosts one of London's best stand-up comedy gigs every other Thursday.
