Today we visited this branch of Cafe Rouge and although the food was lovely the service was even better. I had duck and my partner had steak both were nice. Portion sizes were perfect for lunch, not too heavy. We sat outside and the waiter was also very pleasant and welcoming to my dog and bought him out some water.... More

Love it here!!.. as you walk through the door the ambience is bang on!! Irrelevant of the team of the day, they have already set the pace, I put that down to the difference of nationalities, age of staff "very important" as of course, customers are of all different ages and nationalitys also, so now that brings me to my... Visited Greenwich branch for business meeting which ended up with full meal table. Food was absolutely delicious. The waiter Ersin provided absolutely professional service. Easy going and with sense of humour he created absolutely friendly atmosphere. Definitely will be back for more casual occasion.

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
