Spent a very pleasant couple of hours in here, good atmosphere, nothing fancy, with decent beer & wine at a fair price. It benefits by not being a rowdy city centre pub, well worth a visit.

The Baltic is a Excellent Real Ale Pub with a large range of real ales, and a useful chalk board with 'tasting notes' to guide you to what is best for your palate. The Baltic's quality is in its product sold, not in its decore with plain wooden floors. A great place to go for good beer and a chat... More

Many people bemoan the fact that we are losing our traditional pubs, well, this place is as traditional as they come. There is always a great atmosphere, very good staff and a great range of beers.

The food (a lunchtime menu), while not a lot of choice, is excellent. Good selection of beers and the staff are nice.

Just visited this pub for the first time. Had a pint of Clwed Gold which was excellent. Hope to come back next year when weather is better. Friendly and knowledgeable Landlord.

Good old traditional pub with roaring log fire and real ales on draught which were of excellent quality. Reminds me of the sort of place I grew up in. Most people were in my age group of forty plus

We had a few drinks in here prior to a Rod Stewart concert and found it to be welcoming, except for the guy behind the bar with the beard, no customer service skills whatsoever. That aside the girl serving the bar more than made up for it.

Fine old pub offering traditional bar food and cask ales including one brewed on the premises by the landlord which got our vote. Homemade pies, peas and chips and 'scouse' with red cabbage attracted our attention. Plumped for pies for lunch. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Landlord very knowledgeable about beers. CAMRA PUB

The main thing with this pub is a well kept selection of real ales from a selection of mainly local brewers. These are all listed on a black board or the side of the bar which also has helpful tasting notes. The selection is broad, ranging from a light summer ale to a mild and two good stouts. Fellow drinkers... More

A great little hidden gem. One of the best range of beers in Liverpool, fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff. Just 2mins from the historic Albert Dock.
