Went to bar to ask if my kids could have their ice creams and that the order was wrong to be called a liar and was told I ordered... More

We stopped in for some lunch husband had scampi with sweet potato fries & peas. I had broccoli & spinach quiche salad & sweet potato fries. Quiche was vile and tasted of fish obviously heated in a microwave. Husband said the best part of his meal was the tartar sauce. Might be a good place if you are just stopping... More

When for a bite to eat and stopped In here. Food was awful I had lasagne it was the worst tasting stuff I have ever eaten in my life. It was full of grizzle and clearly microwaveable. My partner got the chicken melt which is a chicken fillet with cheese and bacon when he received it, it was half a... More

I was the first one in the pub today and I was met by the beautiful Frankie, she was so welcoming and open - exactly what you want upon first entry to anywhere. She is so amazing, when she served me there was a particular drink I was looking for and when she couldn't find it on the bar she... More

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Management and staff were horrible. Everything we tried to order for food was out of stock even the hamburgers. The vegetarian order that was ordered came out covered in chicken pieces. Drinks overpriced. Staff seemed to talk to each other rather than serve. Worst pub I've probably been in and I've been to... I used to be a great fan of Yates but my visit to this branch has changed that view, The staff and decor were great but the meals left a lot to be desired. I had a 8oz Rump steak which was served very nicely and was cooked medium rare as ordered, but only a third of the steak was... More

We went there to have lunch sat down and a waiter came to take a few glasses that were left from before, but didn't say anything to us at all...didn't even ask us what we wanted to drink. We waited about 30 minutes and not one waiter came by any of the tables...not even anyone at the bar. Other people... More

Although it can be noisy the food is very reasonably priced! Easy to find a seat, order food and the wait is not too long.
