Having read all the brilliant reviews I had high expectations for this restaurant. However, in my opinion, the food was only average and many of the dishes were far too spicy to be authentic Italian . Also the wine was not chilled enough. The food...was served within minutes of ordering and felt as if it had just been warmed up. Afraid I won’t be returning.More

Came here with my partner. We are both huge fans of Italian food. The setting is cosy and quaint. The menu selection was varied, so we shared about 7 plates between us. I absolutely loved the food! So many wonderful Italian flavours in a great...selection of meat and vegetable based dishes. Have booked our second trip for next week, to try out a new selection of their menu! Nice food in good surroundings and with attentive and friendly.service throughout. Our server gave great advice and was really nice. We ordered a few dishes and a bottle of wine. Food was hot and tasty and just rhe right amount. The except for bit in...the title referred to the fact that after our food we were informed that "we need the table back in 10 minutes" by a member of staff. Thus was disappointing in that 1. We had reserved our table in advance and we didn't just walk in. 2. We hadn't been there for an excessively long time (about 75 minutes) 3. There were other tables next to us that had been there longer than we had but didn't seem to be in any rush to leave. A lovely meal spoilt by this really, a shame and puts you off returning.More

We visited in July and had a wonderful dinner. There were five in our party and all tastes and preferences were catered for. The meat and pork eaters tucked into a spicy pizza, a sublime gnocchi with crispy bits of pancetta, the beautiful prawns with...tasty sauce (that we dipped our prizz crusts in) and beef cheeks. The non-pork eaters and vegetarian had the mushroom gnocchi, the magarita pizza, the mushroom pizza and we all tucked into the crispy arancini balls, and the star goat's cheese saled, which really was exceptional, and something that I would travel from London for. The place was very welcoming and caters for large parties with a seating area at the back. The front of the restaurant has a cool vibe and you can see food being prepared in the "open kitchen". The cocktails looked delicious and if you haven't tried Lemoncello (a lemon flavoured liquor) I would suggest trying it here first--you won't forget it, simply because it has such a fresh top note.
