Visited on Saturday lunchtime and the restaurant was reasonably busy. Staff were welcoming and friendly and accommodated our wishes to decorate the table for a birthday. Food orders were taken promptly although there was a bit of a wait for drinks orders to arrive on...More

Tasty food, wide choice, great prices, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, fast service - who could ask for anything more?

Bunch of us went to Bistro Franc for lunch, pre-booked. Food wasn't bad but service could have been so much quicker. A three course menu is only £1 more than 2 courses, but, due to slow service, we simply didn't have time for dessert so...More

So, we popped by this place having done so many times before, and the disappointment is difficult to put into words. 2 courses for under £15, a great offer if the food is edible. The pork 'steak' was really poor, very fatty and tough, and...More

A group of us had dinner here for a family birthday. Great food and service. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit but found the 'suggested gratuity' attached to the bill very annoying. Normally leave a tip but didn't on this occasion because I found the suggestion irritating!

We went with some friends for a pre theatre dinner before our concert last night. We arrived at 5.30pm. We ordered a bottle house wine at £18. The quality should be better for the charge. It took over half an hour before our staters arrived....More

sorry wouldn't know
Probally complacency or just plain incompetence. Who knows as places do well and all sorts of reasons why they nose dive. It appeared at Bistro Franc that there was no member of staff trained to manage or team lead. How can any restaurant forget to serve a customer while spending most of the time working close to their table. Shame it used to be ok but notice not just me miffed the past week.
