My wife and I recently ate here and we were disappointed with the quality of the food. We decided to have lunch at The Lincolnshire Poacher and wish we had chosen another place in the local vicinity. We both had pie with vegetables and mash...More

I visited the Lincolnshire Poacher for lunch end of January with my friend. The meal I had was good for the price but the thing that surprised most was the flexability of the drinks included with the meal. Both my friend and I were driving...More

Three of us ate lunch. All ordered sirloin steak, two rare and one medium rare. The rare we’re fine but the medium rare was over cooked but tasty nevertheless. One diners peas were cold but overall the food was enjoyed.

Have been going here occasionally for decades but no more. Went for meal last Monday. Even worse than last time. It's filthy, unpleasant and smelly. Dreadful black, sticky carpet at end of bar as you go in. We went to the back area but it...More

If you want nice food, with friendly service, you can't go wrong with this place. We had the mega mixed grill, that was tasty and well cooked. We also had the chicken and gammon pie, that tasted nice, but the pastry was a bit on...More

The decoration is dated, furniture is ruined and very tatty. Staff were not pleasant or smartly dressed. The 3 real ales on offer were terrible. If this was the last pub in Lincoln, I would be teetotal. The owners need to get a grip.

An old Farmhouse that the main part of the building dates back to 1817. Open from 11am daily with food being served from 11.30. Large restaurant area with space for large parties of up to 50 people able to sit in the same section. Fantastic outdoor seating area with fairy lighting and outdoor log burner for those cool evenings.
