Visited this lovely wee inn over the Easter weekend. It's a 10 minute walk from the Lincoln Inn on Eastgate where we were staying. Something on the menu for everyone. First visit I had the gammon surf and turf......so good! Sunday they have a smaller menu and this time I had the roast beef dinner with a side portion of... More

One of my favourite places in Lincoln & we go regularly. But this evening has let them down terribly, the service was awful, the girl didn't have a clue, such as shame, food lovely as always, service a total let down 😏

I was starving, so really pleased to be served very quickly after our order. I had the roast beef which was done to perfection, succulent meat, crispy veg and perfectly done roasties. The waitresses are extremely friendly and can't do enough for you. The owner always asks if you enjoyed your meal, and seems genuinely pleased when you answer in... More

What an excellent pub/restaurant. The staff are very friendly and polite. Food very good and a wide range of real ale/beer available. Manageress very warm and welcoming and an excellent site just near to the Cathedral Quarter. Well worth a visit. I will certainly go back

Second visit in a short space of time as it's a nice walk from home. The walk back is required after eating a pile of their chips and helping the kids with theirs. No kids menu but available when asked for and is pretty standard as kids menus go. Main menu is typical of a lot of pubs similar to... More

Had to wait a little longer than we would have liked for the food HOWEVER on both visits the wait was absolutely worth it as the food was cooked to perfection and came out piping hot. The chickpea curry is fantastic and I would also recommend the scampi. For a mid week evening meal The Peacock does not disappoint. One... More
