I have only ever visited the take away side so cant comment on the restaurant service. Always busy when we’ve been. Beautifully cooked fish, ships are not soft and soggy that you get elsewhere but nice and firm. Cooked in vegetable oil so ‘healthier’ with...More

We decided to eat in the restaurant as it was lunchtime. We were greeted by a very friendly girl and given a very nice table. The restaurant was very clean and tidy hygiene was very good. We ordered our meal and were given a pot...More

Went back Friday week ago, service started off well and we once again enjoyed our fish and chips 👍 We decided to have a sweet but alas no one approached us not to clear our finished plates away or ask if we required anything else,...More

Food was lovely but can't say it was particularly better than any other chippy. We were expecting something better given it's award. The waitresses just didn't seem interested and we had to keep trying to catch their eye to order dinner, the same for desert...More

We went in to get takeaway on a busy Saturday evening. I don't want to express any negativity towards the staff, the two who served us wore trainee badges and they were polite and apologised for the long wait. I don't want them to feel...More

The fish was great... but sadly that was the only positive.. the chips brag about being cooking in vegetable oil only!!! Would be nicer all round if th chips were cooked in lard or dripping, they ended up being very, very dry, almost sucked to...More

Three of us dined. Two had sea bass one plaice, all well cooked and tasty. Only negative would be about the “garden peas”. They were tinned and not very good at that. Would have mushy ones in future.
