Even though I am a local, I had never noticed this place before! I took my son to a sensory session in a business next door and saw the inviting colourful gates to the tearoom and thought it looked inviting. I wasn't wrong. The selection on offer was great, so I went for a sourdough toast with scrambled eggs and... More

My husband had the welsh rarebit with salad and I had the goats cheese salad. Both were freshly prepared and tasted great. The coffee was very good as well. Our westie had excellent service and was well looked after. There is seating outside, dogs are welcome and there is a very good exhibition to wander around. What more could you... More

We visited here during and after our visit to the Quaker Tapestry and found it served very fine soup, sandwiches and cakes. It caters for vegetarians and we were served promptly with piping hot and flavourful soup, made on the premises. Definitely worth a visit for coffee or for lunch.

A very pleasant little tea room, with a good variety of food. The staff were very charming and would be worth visiting even if you didn't have time to visit the Tapestries.

Called here for lunch with my husband, we both had panini sandwiches, he had Cheddar while I had vegan mozzarella with onions and roasted pepper. The coffee was excellent, the sandwiches very good and the service quick and friendly with a very welcoming atmosphere.
