Discovered this café yesterday and were amazed by the quality of the food which is made with real care and attention to detail. Friendly staff and excellent prices mean I will be going back to sample more things from their menu!

It's in the name, this cafe is truly scrumptious. Popped in with a colleague for a light lunch between meetings. Even the side salad was delicious 😋

We have been here a few times now for lunch and have always enjoyed it. Lovely fresh food, good portions and good value for money. The salad I had with my sandwich was delicious and I also enjoyed the loose leaf tea served in a china cup and saucer!

We chanced upon this little place in Kendal and decided to get some lunch. The place and the decor are very quirky and it's a very welcoming environment in a great location. The staff were lovely and the food and drink (Sausage and wholegrain mash, smoked salmon sandwich, loose leaf tea and turkish delight and rosewater cake) was absolutely delicious... More

After a friendly welcome by the owners I sat down to a really tasty bacon and egg bap with a nice hot pot of english tea served in china cups. Surveyed the menu... More

We had driven past several times saying we should give it a try, a year later we did. It was a lovely little place for a lunch. The mushrooms were great as the tart worth the trip to the other side of town.

We stopped for lunch. The lasagna my daughter ordered was almost inedible. I had goat's cheese and caramelised onion tart. It had obviously been reheated in a microwave and the pastry was soggy. The caramelised onion overwhelmed the taste of the cheese so I scraped most of it off. My friend's cottage pie was mostly potato, so overall not so... More

Excellent bacon button . Even better cup of tea.A pleasant change from bigger brand coffee shops. Not too far from bus station & town centre.
