Ate here for lunch today with my daughter and granddaughter . Just managed to get a table on a very busy lunchtime. Plenty of choice for adults and children. Cakes looked very nice as did the many varieties of ice cream. Food was tasty and freshly made although service was slow. Prices are reasonable. There are plenty of activities for... More

My wife found this place when she brought my daughter horseriding. The stables attached it called Parkers Riding School. We paid £10 for my 3 year old and her friend to ride little ponies. They each got to ride their own then brush it. The cafe was the best part. I had the cooked breakfast, my wife the bree and... More

We visited this morning, a party of five adults and two young children. We had several cups of very nice coffee and enjoyed a selection of cakes. We were there at 10.30 and by the time we left, two hours later, the place was mobbed. Lots of families with young children enjoying their lunches. Service was polite and efficient. We'll... More

Visited for afternoon tea, went for the Wellington option which is the largest afternoon tea and consists of two sandwiches, a scone, a shortbread biscuit and a piece of cake. The sandwiches are filled to your choice, I opted for chicken and bacon mayonnaise and the filling was delicious, with good quality chicken and nice thick bacon used. Up next... More

While visiting family we enjoy coming here. The walk through the forest, the toys etc all make for a good fun family day out. But... The thing that lost a star was the lack of soya/dairy free options, limiting my intake to black coffee, no sorbet, no cake. If you can get soya milk and some dairy free spread for... More
