It was a very cold weekend but this pub was very warm and welcoming. It was lovely sitting in the warm with a fabulous view of the lake. We didn't eat here but there were plenty of people did and the food being served looked very good.

We have been to Lakes quite a few times and fancied trying somewhere difficult. We picked this one after looking at menu and have to say we wasn't disappointed. I had the lamb shank and my husband had the roast rack of lamb from specials menu. Both were delicious and although we were quite full we both had pudding. Would... More

Good food and choice on the menu. Staff were all lovely. Nice to have a choice between sitting g somewhere a bit quieter or having the nice view of the water. We did both. Plenty of parking which is why we chose it originally, it's a lot easier than walking around town and choosing somewhere

The restaurant was welcoming and the staff were very friendly. The gluten free menu was extensive and I felt like they were on it with making sure the food was correct. Atmosphere was great the weather was nice all day and the Lake looked great with the clear sky. Would recommend for an evening winter meal!

Lovely new refurbished pub and lovely places to sit and admire the views. Then you get served by someone who doesn't even communicate and clearly is in the wrong job! Why work in a pub and be so miserable? Shame.

First visit after flood refurbishment. Decor much the same however no sofas or comfy chairs near the log fire. Tables and chairs to sit around did not eat here looked expensive when reading menu. Lots of dogs large and small.

Stopped on spec for lunch on a wet day in November. Lovely roaring fire and wonderful view out of the window. Food was very good, I had the Cumbrian sausage and it was excellent. The serving staff were very attentive.

Great Sunday lunch in front of the roaring log fire on a very cold day, what more could you want. Great that you can have your dog inside the lower area of the building while you eat. Love this place, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for, good quality food.

I have stayed at the Wateredge Inn on many occasions over the last 25 year and have seen many changes during that time. I have enjoyed every stay - all the rooms I have occupied have been good with a high level of cleanliness. The setting is superb and even when very busy its always possible to find a quiet... More
