Had a baileys hot chocolate and a warm mince pie, it was delicious. The service was very friendly and the cafe is clean and comfortable. Sat watching the lantern parade in the warm. Will visit here again.

We ordered a vegan chill with nachos, for someone who is intolerant to cows milk protein. It was served covered in cheese! The staff tried to get us to accept this, stating that the chilli was vegan. Be careful if you want to eat here,...More

Hubby booked this for one night. £100 b&b. The host was lovely. Showed us to the room. It was clean and a gorgeous comfy bed. We had the room “Merlot”. This didn’t have a bath, only a shower. There was some red wine and sky...More

We called in here for breakfast on our last day in Ambleside, primarily because we knew it was dog friendly. The menu is very good, with a wide range of choices. I went for the Stiles breakfast. It didn't disappoint. Cooked very well and reasonably...More

Description
Located on the busy main road leading into Ambleside town centre Stiles Coffee Bar is a stylish licensed cafe offering locally roasted coffees, high quality loose leaf teas and freshly prepared food. Our coffee is roasted in Keswick by Carvetti. This coupled with our wide selection of beers, wines and cider along with a varied menu offering varied breakfasts, lunch and sharing platters make Stiles the ideal place to rest after a busy day on the fells or by the lake. Finally, we have our very own afternoon tea on a wooden Lake District stile (pre-booking required!). See many more details in our food section. We are a family run cafe and will do everything we can to cater for any specific needs or requests you may have. All of our food is cooked to order and we endeavour to bake all of our cakes ourselves. We guarantee you will love our scones (with jam and Rodda's clotted cream!) and hearty home-made soup.
