Visited and had coffee and vegan cake. Lots of options for vegans. Lots of handmade cards and bags on sale in the cafe.

Don't just drive though Ambleside without stopping! We have done this so many times and this time decided to stop. This is a gorgeous little town and has little gems like the Rattle Gill Cafe. Stop, park and find it

Simply delicious salad, so much so that young T managed to eat some! Do you know, is come again, just for the salad. Staff are quite nice too!! Actually wouldn't consider any other cafe in Ambleside.

Having visited in February I was looking forward to eating here again, if we could get a table, the cafe is very small but it's worth the wait if there isn't a table free. Food is fresh, tasty and homemade, we couldn't fit in a...More

Great produce and actually really good portion sizes. All made to order and quality. Only quirk is that it's VERY small inside!! You either have to time your arrival to perfection or be prepared to hang around outside. If you're in no rush though it's...More

Another great coffee and cake stop here, chuffed to arrive at 4pm and find there was just enough space for us! We enjoyed brownie, tiffin and banana cake with hot choc and tea. Just the thing to warm us up after a rainy walk. Thanks!

I have friends who are getting married and honeymooning in the lakes... I would like to get them a gift voucher for lunch/ cakes at your cafe... Is this possible and could they reserve a table as they only have a couple of days there?
