Had lunch here 1 week ago... lovely food & great service. Will definitely return, it's quite compact inside but I'm led to believe they put seats outside in the better weather.

Really nice lunch and the cakes look great. It’s not big so I guess you will be lucky to get a table during busy times. Would happily return in the future for more chilli delights! Dog friendly!

We've visited here several times now for lunch and it's amazing. The cheese scones with chutney are definitely worth a try!

The title says it all......there is nothing else to say. However, the review has to be 100 characters long so give it a visit and see if you agree with my assessment; I'll bet you do.....

Rattle Ghyll is a really nice cafe. Staff are friendly and welcoming Building warm and we'll maintained. The cakes are really tasty and guess homemade. Tea was hot and steamy. Good to call in.

We always visit this small cafe when visiting Ambleside. None of us are vegetarians but we love the homemade delicious food. We all chose something different and all looked amazing. Always busy and people waiting for tables. We also bought some handmade Christmas tree decorations...More

Heard great things about this place and we weren’t disappointed. Visited with our daughter and we all have different likes and dislikes with food. Every one of us was blown away by the sumptuous flavours and the warm, friendly welcome and service.
