Dropped in today for some comfort food - I had the chicken ham & leek pie with seasonal veg and mashed tatty. What a delicious meal! The flavours were wonderful - the mashed tatty was marvellous and the vegetables were all cooked beautifully. Couldn't ask...More

It's a great little pub but the food doesn't do it for me, sandwiches are on warmed up small baguettes which taste as if the microwave comes into play. As a pub it's terrific friendly and they understand their customers

I had the tastiest lamb shank, it was divine. The vegetables were very tasty and would not mind to get hold of the carrot as well as the recipe for the lamb shank. It was my third visit to the pub and can recommend them.

Have been in often for lunch - all food has been excellent but particularly like the homemade pies. Friendly attentive service and reasonably priced - definitely would recommend.
