We booked a roast for Easter Sunday after seeing the lovely reviews- we were not disappointed.
Everything was wonderful. The staff were lovely and very attentive without being overbearing. The food was delicious, we had roast pork and roast beef, served with huge selection of...vegetables and cauliflower cheese. Deserts were so tasty, profiteroles sundae and bread and butter pudding. Portion sizes were very generous, and the setting was lovely.
Prices were very reasonable too. Would definitely recommend this place, cannot wait to go back.More
Visited twice on the same day. Visited in afternoon to finish off a walk along coast. Great beers and very welcoming staff. After evening meal looking for a place to have a final drink for the evening and couldn't resist a return visit. Staff very...welco0ming. Made a point of coming over to table after we had sat down to give dog a treat..
Great selection of beers, staff very welcoming, well worth visiting if you want a good beer and AN enjoyable couple of hoursMore
Visited over the bank holiday weekend. Sadly not serving food currently but stopped by for a couple of drinks. Very good service and drinks selection. Venue is away from the main tourist area which will appeal to some. Great views from the area as you’re...up high. Worth a visitMore
I’ve always liked this pub. It’s very homely. I’ve always liked their roasts too. Last one a few years ago wasn’t so good, however chefs change. My recent visit on Sunday was great. The roast was perfect and the staff are all friendly and efficient....Great live music too 😊More
