A great find. We met with a photographer here before a shoot. Great tasting coffee in a small coffee shop with a nice buzz. Nice decor. Can't fault.

Not bad, definitely not great. A bit hipster. You get a nice view of the river if you sit at the right angle. Service was quite abrupt.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon as passing - very near to the Heritage Museum. Quite quiet - only seemed to be populated by local people on computers! Had two coffees & a rather nice piece of orangey-choccy cake. Having read previous reviews I can see...More

Must have visited on an off day as they were waiting for their cakes (what, you don't make your own?) and the one that was there wasn't particularly appetising. Will try again as the cafe is in a pretty spot, quiet and by the river.

We have been here a few times and it is usually lovely and beautiful location etc. However, when we visited today (23/12/16), we had quite an unpleasant experience in terms of customer service. We ordered four coffees, including a 'filter coffee'. I had asked for...More

What a find! We stopped in Canterbury for a much needed coffee on our way to Margate and were lucky enough to choose this place with some help from TA. The flat white was up there with the best - an assertive roast, perfect temperature...More

Great coffee and nice atmosphere. We didn't stop for long but the ambience was nice and the coffee and hot chocolate worth the short detour from the high street.

Literally the best coffee in Canterbury, served in a gorgeous location on the riverside. The staff are genuinely passionate about what they do, and it is great to feel that your barista is a professional, not simply a university enrolled part timer as per the...More

Someone said this place did a nice cup of coffee, and they weren't joking. On a hot day, with its doors open it was a welcome stop on a wander through the city. Friendly staff, and wonderful coffee, what more can you ask for. Try...More

Cute little coffeehouse, my partner had read about this place having the best coffee. He felt a bit let down, but the coffee was still ok. Full of students doing work which is the perfect setting for it. The cakes are tasty too.

Is there a garden or a place to sit outside?

I'm afraid not but we are just down the road from the Greyfriars garden.
I noticed that you previously seemed to have an issue about serving a disabled customer -see April 2014. The people in question felt unwelcome. Am I safe to bring a friend with cerebral palsy here -or will she be made to feel uncomfortable ?

Hi, We had no issue with serving a disabled customer and have always catered for everybody that comes through our doors, we also have ramps for ease of access and an accessible toilet. The reviewer in question was emailed... More
