My friend told me this is one of the oldest pubs in Kent. The staff here are extremely friendly. Drinks are overpriced though. Shame the kitchen was closed. They have a lovely outside seating area.

Nice vibe and very good service. Fish and Chips and Panko chicken both very tasty. Highlight arguably the salt and wings, interesting take on wings and great result.

Visited this pub with a group of work colleagues for a farewell party. Lovely surroundings, excellent bar food and drinks, the bar staff however made us feel unwelcomed as if it was too much effort for them to serve drinks, shame; otherwise very nice pub.

Lovely pub near the river. Did not eat here but the menu was excellent and saw others having food which looked really good. Nice decor inside and outside in the garden. Next visit will definitely eat here.

We came here on Sunday night on a recommendation from a local. It's slightly off the tourist trail but worth hunting it out. Good selection of beers, charming old interior with hops hanging down from the ceiling and friendly, efficient service. All our party enjoyed...More
