In pursuit of a balanced review I felt I should say something negative about this place; all I could think of was that the portion size of the Fruit Crumble and Custard was almost too much (but finished every last crumb anyway). Simply superb food...More

Booked on line prior to our weekend away in Canterbury. Food was delicious. Staff were friendly and the service was good. Would recommend.

I can't fault Deesons. I've been here several times and the food is always lush. I've even taken back ideas for meals that we have tried at home.

We'd had a recommendation for Deeson's from a helpful staffer at ABode Canterbury, so I had my eye peeled for it. We had a really splendid meal, as good as anything we have enjoyed at our favourite London gastropub, The Bull & Last, which is...More

Great spot located in the heart of Canterbury close to the Cathedral and the 'Canterbury tales' attractions. Food was fab - we had the lamb and the grilled haddock which were both full of flavour. Lovely service by a young lady with glasses who helped...More

Superb food cooked to perfection. I have been here many times and the menu is seasonal and the food locally sourced. Great waiters and waitresses who can discuss the meals and advise on wine etc. Fairly expensive but you get good value for money.

Lovely restaurant with a great setting, ambience and welcoming friendly staff. We arrived for dinner at 6pm so had the set menu of 3 courses for £18. The duck main course was sublime.
