We came here to celebrate 2 birthdays after seeing it on countryfile. We are glad we went but for the price there is a lot missing. It’s not a foraging as we thought and rather disappointing. Drinks wise: the house brewed beers on offer (2...More

Visited for Saturday lunch. Service from staff was excellent, they advised well on dishes. I had a vegetarian main course, barley and mushroom risotto. It was tasty, but unfortunately was not very hot, I don't think the plate had been pre-warmed. By the time I...More

We have visited the Foragers twice in the last month, both times (one a Saturday evening and one on Easter Monday) we have had delicious meals and great service. Varied menu, lovely food descriptions - drinks are really good too. Will definitely be going again!

Pop in for drinks here quite often (they have a wide ranging and interesting beer selection), and been meaning to try the food for quite a while. Not disappointed. Pigeon starter very good - and no objection to finding a piece of shot, thus proving...More

We visited the foragers today for a quiet lunch whilst the kids were at school. We were very impressed, the pub was warm and welcoming , the decor and furniture has a shabby rustic feel, the open fire a treat on a bitterly cold day....More

Wow, what a treat on a wet Saturday afternoon! (Or any other time or day for that matter). The food was absolutely delicious, service with a smile and a good selection of draught beers to wash it all down. Not sure what beer you'd like?...More
