The pub does offer food but I've only been here for the music which is on twice a week, Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoon. The music tends to be blues based but not exclusively. The pub is small so viewing the bands may not be that easy but the pub has a great vibe to it and a good selection... More

This is a cask marque olde worlde pub with a reasonable selection of good beers. Had a good reception from a friendly, helpful barman who quickly pulled a pint of excellent beer and took the food order. Beer was very, very good. Food was very, very basic. 1 faggot (albeit a large one made by a local butcher) in artificial... More

The best Ledbury had to offer in terms of pubs and sited amidst all the historic buildings on Church Lane. Decent ales including Ledbury Dark, Hobsons Best, Youngs Hummingbird, Wye Valley Butty Bach, Courage Best & Wells Eagle IPA were the 6 ales. Rosies Pig was the real cider. Friendly helpful bar staff. The front bar is traditional and the... More

Just the kind of pub I love. Lots of great history and real ales. I didn't have food so can't really comment on that. Only stopped for a quick pint but would certainly go back if I was in town.

Back in the area on holiday and we just had to re-visit the Prince of Wales. Very quaint pub with friendly and helpful staff. The food did not disappoint - just as good as last time. Keep up the good work.

Chose this venue to take my partners' mother for a birthday lunch. Read the great reviews on here and confidently booked a table. Lovely looking Olde Worlde pub, bit of a task negotiating the way to the restaurant with a wheeled frame, but no probs. No table service. Great looking lunch menu, had already previewed it online the day before... More

Old pub with a lot of history. Staff reasonably friendly. Good real ale kept and served well. Dinner was a bit "school dinner-ish" and disappointing from previous reviews we had read. Two small just about roasted potatoes plus three small boiled ones that were, like the carrots, in need of a further four minutes boiling. Price was very reasonable. Would... More

Called in by chance and had the best steak and kidney pie, chips and peas I have had in years, plus a couple of pints of Wye Valley bitter, doesn't get much better

We popped in for a quick sandwich lunch. The building is very quaint and full of atmosphere. We ordered sandwiches but there was a good choice of full meals. The sandwiches were enormous - not very delicate but very tasty. Prices were very reasonable. There was a good choice of beers and a lot of the food is locally sourced.
