Often eat here when stopping in Winchester. The specials menu (available Mon-Thurs) is good value and the food always outstanding. Service has always been good for me too. House red is a fine accompaniment. Not the place to bring vegetarian though.

A number of friends had recommended Porterhouse and a business dinner seemed a good way to explore. Friendly staff, warm welcome and efficient, unobtrusive service. Torn between rib-eye and t-bone, went with the managers recommendation of rib-eye. Steak was perfectly cooked and well seasoned but...More

Porterhouse is not about variety. It's not about being all things to all people.
It's about doing something simple & doing it better than anyone else.
