Beer very expensive. No sandwiches on the menu. Clearly do not want to encourage walkers to visit. Ordered soup at £6.50!! which was served in a tiny bowl in the middle of a huge plate with no bread roll only a minute crouton in the...More

As with a few other previous reviews service was a little patchy. The food was really good although I would prefered a bit more fish offered particularly on the starters. A good smoked chicken terrine, a wedge salad and the roasted tomato soup to start...More

This is a quaint little pub and the staff are friendly and efficient. We met with friends and it was the perfect place as the weather was dreadful. An open fire welcomes visitors and the food we ordered, didn’t disappoint.
