There isn't enough that I could say about our experience here. We popped in for lunch and had an amazing time. Back and forth good-hearted banter between the locals and "G" with the staff enjoying transferring messages. Both of the ladies (bartender and assistant manager-...More

Just came in for a pint and a shandy for the missus, cold drinks on a hot sunny day. A very traditional English pub.

We had dinner here in this quaint and atmospheric pub. Food was nicely presented and the staff attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. But the homemade bread was simply amazing and I would recommend for this reason alone. A most enjoyable dinner

We didn’t stay in a room but visited for lunch. The pub is worth a visit even for a quick drink just to look at it’s architecture and decor. Inside there are two main bars and a two or three other rooms off the side...More
