Superb lunch. Great menu choices and freshly cooked food. Great flavours. Very good value for money. Choice of puddings was small but excellent however we chose local ice cream as not much room left for anything heavier.

Visited this place for Sunday lunch with my family to celebrate my birthday. Had to wait one hour for food and disappointed with Sunday roast with very under cooked vegetables.
I've never had to write a review in my entire life but this was such a disappointing experience that it seems necessary to warn others. We weren't acknowledged or seen to by anyone for 20 mins. Our table was booked for 6.30pm, and by 6.50pm...More

This was a welcome pit-stop after being dragged around the Cotswolds for two hours by my fiancé. Great lunch choice and very comfortable. Quiet when we got there but very busy after an hour or so.
If you are looking for a Cotswold pub that serves an excellent Sunday roast, with a veggie option as well as excellent roast beef, try this pub in the village of Sheepscombe just outside Painswick.
