Visited today with my wife while enjoying a relaxing wander around Stow On The Wold. We were greeted warmly and found the owner very friendly. We both had a cream tea and we both agreed it was the best we had ever had. We are regular visitors to tea rooms, both independent run premises and National Trust properties and we... More

Just visited the tea rooms and had what was probably the best cream tea we've ever had. The owners were extremely hospitable, the service was great and price wasn't expensive. Completely over indulged but it was worthwhile.

Hello Alan H Good to meet you and encouraging that you felt welcome here. We do receive great comments about our cream teas - scones made from proper ingredients every day with homemade jam and quality clotted cream has to be a winner! We have always kept our prices reasonable and see no reason why visitors should pay inflated prices... More

My husband and I visited here a few years ago when we were last in the Cotswolds and loved it so much that we wanted to return. We know it gets busy so we booked a table, however I had to call to say we would be late as we couldn't find a parking space (it was half term and... More

The tearoom is hidden away at the end of a passageway, but is well worth seeking out. Excellent snacks and drinks on offer.

A well run tea rooms with a fabulous selection of food. I had cheese and onion bake which I could not fault. The garnish was well constructed with a good selection of salad, including grapes and orange. The bread was fresh, tasty and a goood 'door step' size. But most of all the tea was REEL LEAF tea which reminded... More

Hello Delbyoung Thanks for stopping by and appreciating what we do here. Freshly prepared salad with fruit - not straight out of a bag as you often get! We've always used real leaf tea as it has so much more flavour than most tea bags. Be great to see you next time you are in the town. With best wishes.... More

Just called in for a coffee whilst visiting Stow, noticed it tucked away in a little precinct. The place is not very large, but appeared to be well frequented by locals. The coffee was delicious and they had a good menu for eats. Nicely decorated and has a toilet. Have been to Stow before, but not seen this, but will... More

This little gem of a tea room is, in a word, brilliant. Ambience, cleanliness, staff and the food are all excellent. Leaf tea with a strainer was a throwback to the good old days. Food was first-class and very reasonably priced. It was recommended to book a table (which I did) and it was easy to see why reserving was... More

Description
PLEASE NOTE: We will be CLOSED from FRIDAY 7th OCTOBER AND RE-OPEN ON SATURDAY 22nd OCTOBER for our autumn break. We are an owner operated traditional tearoom. Much of our menu is made here on the premises, including Soups, Dressings, Sauces, Jams and of course all of our cakes and scones. We make everything from basic ingredients, not pre prepared mixes. Our coffee and tea is Fairtrade. The coffee is freshly ground and we use loose leaf tea, with the exception of herbal teas.We aim to source our produce locally as we believe in supporting local suppliers where possible. We also provide a Gluten Free selection of meals, including homemade Gluten Free scones, so a cream tea can be had by everyone!Vegetarian options are always available. We are visited by many customers time and time again, along with strong support from locals who live in the town. Regular hours are 10am to 4.00Pm (5pm Saturdays). Please note we are closed on Sundays and Thursdays. Do ring to check if you are coming from a distance. Bookings for tables is welcomed and often necessary to guarantee a table. Parties catered for.
