The hubby and I had a light lunch which was finger licking good, the portions were very reasonable and didn't cost the earth. Thanks Jennie.

Nice and tasty large breakfast for £8.50 consisting of two fried eggs, two sausages and two bacon with beans and toast. It was a bit off putting as the chef was watching us eating our food but she was very friendly.

This cafe was just what I wanted. It was a very cold day and I had driven to the Cotswolds without lunch. Hackett’s gave us a warm welcome. The menu is good with light lunch options, Eg sandwiches and jacket potatoes. We opted for the...More

This delightful cafe is a little off the main square but nevertheless does a great job. The fresh soup was wonderful and the service friendly and quick. We managed to park outside but it’s not too far from the main car park. It’s small, homely...More

Thank you for your review, Alan. We only have a small menu but that way we can keep it home-cooked, prepared dishes to order and keep down the cost. We're glad you found us.

Stopped for a coffee and scone. Free upgrade from buyer to clotted cream, excellent. Food and drink lovely. Could benefit from more heating, but if the climate in s place doesn't suit then walk out and find some where else.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry you found your visit so disappointing. However I would like to say that we always heat the soup on the stove, not in the microwave. The items on the specials board are not made in larger quantities...More

I was disappointed to read your review, especially as you felt I was unfriendly. I do warm the scones - in the oven - but I'm disappointed that the one you had was stodgy.

We were in the Cotswold on a tour, only had about 1 hour to explore Stow and have lunch. Most of the tour bus just popped in to the nearest pub, but my daughter and I asked a local, where she would eat. She pointed...More

Thank you for your review of Hackett's Stow. I'm so glad you didn't follow the rest of the tour bus into the nearest pub! Simple food, fairly priced is what we aim for.
