Sunday lunch today to celebrate my Birthday, best Roast Beef we've tasted for ages. Lana was our waitress again and she looked after us superbly. We'll definitely be back again soon.

I stayed at the hotel and had their fillet mignon each day (it was that good) Staff are well-trained but not overly stiff. Desserts are fantastic. Definitely recommend!

Despite not being the hotels main restaurant this Brasserie is still at a very high standard. Everyone we spoke to really enjoyed the food here.

I wish I could say it was a lovely experience, but it wasn't. The service was slow, which would be understandable if the place was really busy, which it wasn't. I found my prawns overcooked, the pastry in the "wild mushroom tart" difficult to cut with a knife and no trace of a promised black truffle. Also, the waitress asked... More

Two of us went for a business lunch and dined on the prix fixed menu, the only choice. The menu is very small and the choice limited. The presentation was good but the portion size and cooking left a lot to be desired. They like to push all the diners together and a wedding party arrived making it difficult to... More

We ate in the hotel our first night for convenience, and were delighted with the meal and the service. Local people come there to eat, and I can see why...if lived nearby, it would be on my list!

I have stayed a number of times at the wonderful hotel in the past year or so and love to use my visits as an excuse to sit in the atmospheric, cosy brasserie which serves delicious, often highly comforting but stylishly served food, glugging down one of the gins from its wonderful available range and a glass of one of... For a high end hotel staff not well trained or attentive. Had to request wine once main course arrived. Leaning across table by staff.
