I was so looking forward to this experience, when I booked the Royal Afternoon Tea, I was told they were very full but could 'just' fit us in, but when we go there we were the only ones there so there was no atmosphere. Everything came very quickly but all at once, glass of bubbles, pot of tea and very... More

Booked some months ago mainly on the restaurant reputation. When we checked some time later we were told the hotel had been sold and would no longer be doing evening meals. Staff were excellent during our stay. Our room was a 'cosy double' which as the name suggests was a bit on the snug size but adequate. Room needed redecoration,... More

We booked a premium room for two nights bed and breakfast. The room was in need of redecorating. The skirting boards were scuffed and dirty. The bedside cabinets and dressing table tops were blistered and peeling, and the 4 poster bed frame was cheap melamine and unstable. We could have overlooked this in a Travelodge, or Premier Inn ( not... More

I loved my stay at the The Dial House Hotel. It is in a brilliant location right in the heart of everything in Bourton on the Water (where you can easily be entertained for a few days!) and has plenty of free parking which is very handy. The food is excellent - it is expensive but well worth it if... More

Stayed here for a couple of days , the restaurant was closed so we could not comment on this but allegedly it is recommended highly . The accommodation was nice but could of been better our room we stayed in needs a lot of attention ,such as the bath needs a longer plug as you struggle to get it to... More

My wife and I visited the Dial House for a three course dinner, which had been bought for her as a birthday gift. We loved every aspect of the meal. The location is wonderful, the hotel is a gem and the food was wonderful and beautifully presented (Master Chef eat your heart out!). Congratulations to all involved (and thanks to... More

The hotel was beautiful, the staff were all attentive, but by far the chef was the most outstnding part to our stay. We were celebrating my birthday, and the attention to detail was second to none. Happy birthday spelt out in chocolate on my pre-dessert plate, just one example of the small details which made our stay perfect. The six... More

Myself and my husband stayed at the Dial House Hotel for my 50th birthday and our wedding anniversary. We weren't disappointed with the treat. The hotel, staff and food are excellent. It's such a friendly place and the staff seemed happy to look after you. The food was fantastic, what a chef they have. I can't recommend this hotel enough... More

Booked into The Dial House for dinner, bed and breakfast after a mix-up with another hotel left us looking for somewhere to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I’m so glad we did. We had a lovely room (Room 1), the food was excellent and the staff outstanding. The hotel stay, plus walks around Bourton and the picture-postcard villages of Upper and... More
