The place is lovely, and when Bourton is so busy, it's great to have a little spot where it is a little less so whilst still being by the river. I appreciate that the price is what does this, £6 for a tea and scone...More

Having just read some of the recent poor reviews (which we had not read prior to making our reservation) we are genuinely surprised by some of the comments as we were a group of two couples who enjoyed a wonderful dinner, served by lovely staff,...More

Pros Food was good and promptly served. The steak was cooked to perfection and the soup really well made. The staff took an interest in the diners but the consequence was felt. Great location. Cons We were seated to the rear of restaurant and when...More

We ate here as a couple but found the service and food average who was a shame despite other reviews. You have to order extra sides to compliment your food when it should come with it. The setting is very pretty but I'm sure there...More

Lovely place to sit, but it cost £6 per cream tea. Not bad, but the coffee tiny, as was the scone. Even more disappointing was that it was some indistinguishable cream (definitely not clotted). Lovely place and food looked lovely - would not return for...More

Rated number 1 on here, we decided to visit. Swift service to begin with, with friendly staff, orders taken quickly and starters and mains came in good time. Food was good. Sadly we asked for a desert menu and didn't get one. Waited 20 mins...More

Hi Gill I don't work for the restaurant, I did eat there though. And I should image you could book it but best to phone and check, and as far as I remember they did vegetarian meals. Regards Ian

Hi. The restaurant is right next to the river that runs through Boughton and yes, there are outside tables.
