My wife and I stumbled upon this cafe by chance this weekend which proved quite the happy accident! We enjoyed some of the locally made cakes and some really excellent coffee. The music was lovely and the staff were cheery, quick and attentive.

Had to wait ages, being ignored by staff. Whilst waiting to be served at the counter, other customers were coming in to complain about the poor service as well. Finally I was served but by a member of staff who obviously had no clue what she was doing. The whole experience was a let down right from the start, which... More

The woman behind the counter ignored me for 5 minutes then barely grunted 'no' at me when I asked if they were still serving sandwiches at 2.45. So walked out and found a lovely place opposite for late lunch.

My wife & I stopped here while exploring Rye and had really nice coffee and the best citrus drizzle cake ever. Even better was the really helpful lady who served us who gave really insightful advice on restaurants, pubs, bars etc. Having followed her advice she was spot on - thank you!

We stopped here for lunch and what a pleasure. The cafe itself is quite small but everything about it great - that is the service and the food. A lot of what they sell is home made and here you can get the best scotch eggs on the planet! But beware - they sell out of scotch eggs early as... More

Came here on Saturday. We didn't want to get involved in restaurant meals and had the dog with us so decided to try this place. We waited at least 20 mins for a coffee, a water and a couple of sandwiches before I went inside and asked. The coffee had been forgotten, the 3 young waiting staff who were hanging... More
