Family of 3. Scampi, haddock and chicken nuggets all with chips. Mushy peas were scrummy with a slight minty taste! Scampi was actual crustacean tail!!! All round delightful! Relatively cheap! Great!

Not yer ordinary Fish 'n' Chips, this. This is reet proper, pukka seaside food, a good notch above the norm. The service is very very efficient. Nice clean and crispy batter, good choice of fish, chippychips and lashings of tea in mugs.

Brought take away fish and chips here to eat on the beach. cost about £8 for a portion. Was enough to feed myself and my 5 year old. Tasty. Quite expensive and quite average.

We went for lunch at the Mermaid Cafe, following a recommendation in our travel guide. Naturally, as tourists, we opted for the Fish and Chips, but were very disappointed, as the dish was completely different from what our guide had promised. It was way too...More
