Very expensive for what you get. I thought that the quality was very poor. They don't seem to be able to cook a tomato sauce or do pasta properly. I thought that some of the ingredients seemed cheap (prawns, freeze dried pasta, rubbery calamari). The...More

We tried this on a recommendation. We were seated promptly and service was quick and friendly. We both ordered starters, Bruschetta and Arancini Rice Balls. The bruschetta was small and the toast was burnt. The Rice Ball were massive, but lacked any flavor. Main meals...More

I recently booked an evening here for a group of twenty friends of various ages. The booking process was made very easy by Alberto who supplied all the relevant options for dining as a group and costs etc. I was kept fully updated throughout the...More

We ran out of time in our trip around Brighton and so settled for a meal here. The atmosphere was dull, the cocktails lack lustre and the food hot. Would not bother again; all too average for a town like Brighton

We had our wedding reception here on the 17th of July, we hired out the basement of Al Duomo and all of our guests were pleasantly surprised at what a great venue we chose. The staff went above and beyond to make the room look...More

I went to Al Duomo with some friends to have dinner, the pasta and pizzas were alright, but the tuna steak was really good. I like the way the menu is displayed. Also the dessert was amazing.

Disappointed at the quality of the minestrone soup which I would call a vegetable soup as it do not contain any pasta. Perhaps we made a bad choice for our lunch.

Stopped by for coffees during a walk around Brighton, and before visiting Royal Pavilion. Although the ordering process seemed cumbersome the coffee that arrived tasted good, though it was slightly pricey. We sat outside where it was rather noisy from crowds waiting before or after...More

Went by chance and wanted to eat outside somewhere! Saw the food that the guests were eating and looked good and luckily got a table. Meal was excellent, wine good and service also ok. Can recommend!

Late dinner here. The place was closing after a long busy weekend. The staff were tired and fed up. They still served us and after an initial reluctance they were very good. The pasta was great and overall, good value. Nice location and they allow...More

Near the famous pavillion in Brighton, Al Duomo is well, not quite as famous as the Pavillion itself, but it has attracted two million visitors over the past twenty-one years. A classic, family-run Neapolitan pizzeria spread over three floors, Al Duomo has an Italian menu to tempt even non-pizza lovers, if there are any. The pizzas are cooked in a wood fired oven, one of Britain's first. The many other favourite dishes include Lasagne Casalinga and salmone al dragoncello, cooked in butter, white wine and tarragon with tomato and cream. It's a great place for parties and groups, but absolutely everyone enjoys the delicious food, charming ambience and warm Italian welcome. Patio seating when the weather is balmy.
