It was one of those 'What should I bring when visiting' moments. By pure chance - a lucky chance - my eye fell on Julien Plumart. The range of cakes is good and every one of them exudes quality. They look good, they taste good. Mind you in regard to the latter I depend on the views of others since,... More

I went to Julien Plumart boutique searching for some treats and found the best macarons I have ever had💗 I went for pistachio, salted caramel and my winner litchi/rose.

The raspberry delice is a firm favourite with us, your mouth pops with all the different flavours and textures bombarding your taste buds. I have been here before and the service has usually been great. Today sadly I think there weren't enough staff on, we had long since eaten our desserts before the tea appeared. In fairness it wasn't the... More

Their hazelnut praline Paris Brest eclair was amazing. It was around £4. I also had a number of their macarons, costing £1.45 each. The best was the hazelnut praline, then their salted caramel flavour.Their selection of other macarons are somewhat unique but didn't seem enticing enough to buy. Would go again for the flavours mentioned.

Next day delivery is available for online orders at a £6 delivery charge. You can order a selection of Macarons via the Julien Plumart website using a cool little application where you click and drag your chosen Macaron into a 'box.' I enjoyed using this tool, however it is a shame it is not mobile friendly. The other feedback id... More

After visiting their shop on Queen's Road my mother became a big fan of their macaroons I booked their afternoon tea at the Boutique et Salon De Tea. She was delighted and after choosing our teas and our choice of macaroons it was lovely. Very well presented and just such lovely cakes and sandwiches. Highly recommended.

We stopped and admired the store window, while strolling down the busy Queens Street. And decided to enjoy the tea a la fresco. The young French were very accommodating, and set up a table for us on the narrow sidewalk. Their pastries as well as the coffees/cocoas are extremely delicious.

Didn't enjoy going here at all. Didn't end up staying after sitting down. We friends with children with us and we were made to feel this isn't a place for families!

So, I went here after seeing a post that a friend wrote on facebook, I saw that the cakes looked amazing and thought that the girlfriend would appreciate it. She did. So I ended up having a chocolate cake and she had this boat thingy... It's the most apt description but I'll post up some pictures as well. My chocolate... More
