Lovely that dogs are allowed. Love the log fire. Wish it had a dog box full of toys that would make this place Food good quality is it homemade?

Had a roast chicken and roast beef, ridiculously large portions which made you lose appetite just by looking at the dish. Very friendly staff but the Sunday roast really needs work, they must waste large amounts of food.

I called in for lunch recently with a friend. We both ordered the beef roast, with a beer and glass of wine. The portions were large and very tasty. Large Yorkshire pudding with plenty of well cooked vegetables. My only slight criticism was the beef,...More

Well worth a visit, traditional pub food great quality and well priced! Best to park in town and walk as parking is limited and it’s only a ten minute stroll!

Had the bangers and mash and it was lovely, for a pint and some food you can't go wrong. Plenty of beers on offer and good service.

We were staying on the seafront not far from the Camelford arms . It was convenient on a cold and wintry night. The two fires were warm and welcoming , as were the staff. It got busy as the night went on, obviously popular with...More

Lovely atmosphere. LGBT friendly. Sunday roasts are awesome and great value. Dog friendly (although when some are out of control the staff don't intervene). Very hit and miss with the service - some of the staff can be great. Others (one in particular) has a...More

This is a comfortable, cosy pub, with real fires, exposed brick walls, warm lighting and dark wood tables. You walk straight in from the street and are immersed in a grown up, conversational atmosphere. The clientele are mainly middle age gay men, often bearded and...More

I didn't book and found a table no problem, might have been lucky though! I would give them a call.

Description
Our pub has a simple approach - to be the sort of pub we would love to go to ourselves. When we go to a pub we like a warm welcome, friendly staff, good food and fine ales / wine - so this is what we offer at The Camelford. This creates the right atmosphere from which natural friendliness takes over, and before you know it, you are chatting away with those at the next table. Also a good pub should have dogs - and we are the most dog-friendly pub n town. Don't take our word for it - ask the pooches. Our (award-winning) food is served noon-9pm Mon to Sat, and from noon till 6pm on Sundays (where our roasts are legendary). Booking is advisable, but not necessary.
