This is THE WORST place I have ever visited in Brighton. I went in early afternoon with my Nan and ordered a sandwich and bowl of chips to share with one latte and one can of coke. We sat down and waited 30 minutes without getting anything, watching others come and go. I went up to ask if our order... More

I popped into this cafe mid week whilst visiting my daughter who is studying at University in Brighton. I generally look for little independent cafes/restaurants when out rather than the large chains and this little cafe fitted that bill perfectly. The Menu was quite varied and the three lunch items we chose (Fried eggs on Toast, Chicken Panini and Bacon... More

I've come here a number of times and never been disappointed. The Sussex breakfast is one of the best you'll find. Combine great food with strong coffee, tasty cake and sunny homely feel and you've good the perfect little corner cafe!

Went for the bubble and squeak + ham and eggs breakfast. Really good quality and the bubble made how I think it should be done, a good portion of potato nicely cooked. Coffee was also first class. Pleased we found this cafe. Will return.

Lovely food, staff and atmosphere not chaotic like a lot of places. Would definitely recommend for both locals and tourists.

Ordered a veggie breakfast which took a little while to come but we came at peak time on a Sunday morning so not unreasonable. The food was well proportioned and felt like it was fresh from the kitchen. Priced was good and service friendly and helpful.

Do not go here if you have a food allergy. Despite the sign on the door welcoming those with allergies/intolerances, the management are very intolerant of any special requests. The sign was only put on the door because "it's the law". Such a shame as the food was really good! The portions of smoked salmon were generous and the toast... More
