Booked a table for Saturday lunch with family. Although we were on time and the staff were not busy we were kept waiting in the doorway (there were 6 of us) and it was cold. Eventually shown to a table upstairs which was OK to begin with but later on it transpired that all the large groups were shown upstairs... More

I love coming here, there's a good selection of food on the menu and the service is good! Came here for a catch up with friends one evening we all had starters and fillet steak which we didn't have to wait long for. The calamari was lovely and a big portion for a starter. My fillet steak was lovely and... More

We visited cote brasserie before a performance at the Theatre Royal as it was 2 minutes walk to the door and I had previously viewed the menu online. The service was very good and the waitress very attentive and offered suggestions without any pressure Food arrived in good time considering the place was very busy, delicious starter of steak tartare... My hubby had taken his kids hereand was so impressed he took me too. Very pleasant welcome into the bright bistro. Reminiscent of 1920s France, classic b&w decor which feels a bit glamorous yet remains relaxed. We had coffee whilst we waited for our food (mine was a proper cafe macchiato). Lovely! Hubby had the French Breakfast; simply put it... More

We went there for lunch after the ice ring. It is a bit cold, the staff is ok but nothing special. They try to do a brasserie menu but it is not really one. They try to look like a brasserie but there is no vibe. Portions are small. The onion soup is awful, the worst I ever had. Drinks... More

Group of 10 for an evening meal. The food was tasty but small portions and expensive for what you get. Plus having to pay extra for side dishes like veg is wrong. Staff were pretty good, friendly, though some drink orders had to be repeated or chased up. Not a bad night but it was not value for money.

Description
Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities.
Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly.
