We were walking around Brighton looking for something to eat and then stumbled across Thai Spice Restaurant. Starter: mussels (this comes with chilli sauce and the mussels were very big), I had spring rolls with sweet & Sour sauce. For the main meal my partner had number 35 (sliced steak) with noodles and I had lightly battered fish (number 31)... More

Tiny little railway carriage like interior, we sat in a shabby booth with a cold bottle of white wine and a deliciously hot and spicy jungle curry and a perfectly cooked weeping tiger steak. No frills service but polite and just about the right wait to know your food is being cooked not just heated up in a microwave. If... More

Attended a conference in Brighton and in the first night went for a stroll to find somewhere to dine alone. After a google search decided on this little restaurant. Wednesday night and it was quiet. Menu was average, food average, surroundings average, service slow and left a little deflated after reading some raving reviews on trip advisor. It's ok for... More

Wow, what a great little find. Called this place about half hour before our visit and they managed to squeeze us in a booth (a friend had been before so advised if this) warm friendly welcome and reasonable prices. Had two mixed starters which served us three, delicious. We shared two main curries duck masaman and chicken red both yummy.... More

This little restaurant was discovered whilst walking around Brighton looking for a restaurant on a Saturday evening. After having got some rough directions in which direction to head, we found his little place, took a look through the window and thought, this looks ok. Let me tell you this, the food was delicious, service was excellent and the staff were... More

Small but cosy and inviting. Very friendly, efficient staff and wonderful, tasty food. My son and I both enjoyed our meals -- two starters, two mains, and two soft drinks for £30. Very reasonable.

Decided to try restaurant based on trip advisor reviews but how wrong were we to go here. We have frequented several thai restaurants recently and this is the worst. Food was bland, uninspiring and poor quality ingredients. All I can say is if you want authentic thai food then go elsewhere.

The food was excellent, among the better Thai we have had in UK. The service was a bit 'hit or miss' otherwise we would give it a 5*. Its not the best décor but the food made up for any shortfalls. Its a bit 'quirky' but was a pleasant dinner.

Awesome fish. Really crispy, and yet the sauce was full of flavour: sweet, hot, coconut... Yummo! Having escaped California for four days, and been kicked out of my conference gala, I wanted somewhere nearby to eat. Searching for a gastropub, this Thai hole-in-the-wall was a perfect alternative. Cold beer, hot food, and cheesy music. If you miss a local Karaoke... More
