I walked in here following the music one Sunday, at 5. There was live music, so I came back a few weeks after with friends, to enjoy some great gin cocktails, with funky names! Rhub my tini was my favourite. I came back again and had the pulled pork burger, which was incredible. This was over a year ago, and... More

Make sure you've an empty stomach as I've been served the biggest and best plate of fried chicken ever and only a tenner! Staff are great and if you like real beer this is the place

Popped into this great little pub for a drink and some food. We had our daughter with us and weren't sure if it was child friendly. It was but... they didn't have a child menu (not a biggie but would be nice, maybe offer half portions at reduced price off the menu ) the decor was hip and trendy. I... More

A busy bar, always a sign its worth visiting,. Really friendly efficient staff, a good selection of drinks and a great atmosphere. A short walk to the sea and The Lanes, well worth calling in

It's a bar. You want beer. You want a good selection to choose from. Sorted. A bit pretentious and possibly the most expensive pint you'll have in Brighton but that why you go drinking in Brighton isn't it? A regular haunt it seems for TV celebrities, writers and 'men-with-beards' you'll not want for a better hipster joint this side of... More

An afternoon weekend visit, nice vibes, buzzy atmosphere and how lovely to be able to get champagne by the glass at a reasonable price - nice it was, too.

Tobacco smoke came in through the door, because people smoke next to the front door. Inside was a calm and cozy. The beer tasted good and had a large selection of beverages.

Haven't been here for at least 5 years and as this was en-route to the bus stop, an ideal place to stop for a drink. Has got caught up in the current gin trend, favouring the very drinkable Sipsmiths. Enjoyed a very pleasant half hour in here and will be bringing the gin-loving half here for a visit at some... Definitely worth booking a table as it was very busy. Staff were friendly. The food was very tasty. We had chicken Halloumi crushed fried pots onions gravy. The gintini were delicious. Only 1 negative my husband said the men's loos stank... but would definitely go back again .
