The Ginger Dog has been a firm favourite since we first visited in December 2013, a warm welcoming atmosphere the perfect blend of local pub and "gastropub" . Friendly professional staff, good wine list , the food is always either excellent or very good. Occasionally...More

I regularly eat here and am always impressed with the food. Whether dating, dining alone or with family or friends, the restaurant is charming and the service is great. They have amazing vege and fish dishes too!

Visited yesterday for the first time for Sunday roast which we thoroughly enjoyed. The portions weren't large but for us were more than adequate, the roast potatoes were some of the best we have had in a long time. We had two young children with...More

My wife and I had a 2pm booking and from our great experiences at the other nearby 'Ginger' restaurants, our expectations were high. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. Firstly the positives - the servers were very welcoming and friendly plus the actual food was...More
