The food is good but unfortunately served by unfriendly, unsmiling staff. The last time we went there for breakfast they dropped a whole cup of boiling tea over a customer's leg and hand and instead of professionally coming to help not only clear up the...More

I'm sorry to hear that this was your perceptions of the events on Saturday morning. The staff member was momentarily stunned by the incident, and felt very bad. She did get towels and wipe up the spillage, offered burn cream and directed the customer to...More

Didn't realise it was vegetarian/vegan but thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. Home made sausages were spot on and customer service is brilliant. Should be higher on trip advisor!

Just went in for an Americano coffee, staff in no hurry to serve you, and coffee was disgusting! Tasted like tea with a hint of coffee. Won’t return.More

I have eaten here a few times and the food has always been really good, tasty and fresh. The smoothies are worth a try too! Definately recommend for vegetarians.

This was a 100% only vegetarian cafe, with all the dishes prepared and available to order on demand. There was a wide range of dishes, all looked and tasted great. Good pricing too. Excellent service.

Sorry - same answer, you need to ask the restaurant directly. Again I have never seen any 'reserved' tables when I was there.

Hi, iydea is small and can get rather busy / quite noisy from midday. You are welcome to to try, may I recommend you get a seat at the back as they are quieter. Seb

Iydea is a small and very busy express vegetarian canteen right in the heart of Brighton's North Laine area. All the food is freshly made and is on display so you can choose only what you want to go on your plate or to take away. There is an extensive breakfast menu from 9:30 every morning which changes to the lunch menu at 11:30 (12:00 Sundays). Iydea does get very busy and cramped so best to avoid peak times if you want a little more space and comfort.
